Metal Laser Engraving & Etching

Metal Laser Engraving and Etching

At Di Candilo Steel City, we offer laser etching and engraving for a range of carbon steel and stainless steel applications.

With a working area of up to 1000mm x 600mm, suitable applications include:

  • Finished steel components
  • Compliance plates and engraved plaques
  • Letterbox fascias
  • Asset tags and identification plates
  • Animal and pet tags
  • Company logos
  • Custom artwork and designs

Customer-supplied artwork, photographs, CAD or Adobe Illustrator files can be converted into a format suitable for laser marking. Settings can then be adjusted to suit the material and required finish, from subtle surface markings through to higher-contrast results.

Laser marking can be used across a broad range of steel components, including plaques, stainless steel tags, compliance plates, asset identification, custom parts and decorative applications.

Because the process is digitally controlled, logos, serial numbers, identification markings and other designs can be reproduced consistently across multiple components.

Pricing & Turnaround

Every laser etching and engraving job is different, so pricing is typically quoted on a project-by-project basis rather than from a fixed price list.

Quotes generally depend on:

  • Material type and thickness
  • Size of the etched or engraved area
  • Artwork complexity, including logos, photographs, serial numbers and variable data
  • Quantity required
  • Whether the job is a one-off item or part of a larger production run

If you’re unsure what information is required, send us the artwork, photograph, file or component you have, along with a brief explanation of what you would like to achieve. We can review the application and advise on the most suitable approach.
